Especially, Rainier cherries.
I enjoy feeding myself, but the pits in the cherries made my parents nervous. So they took them out for me. And they left the stems on them, which are really cool. I ran all over the house holding the stem before I ate the cherry. It was so much fun. Comet would chase me all through the house with the hope of getting the cherry. I wanted to give him one, but my parents would not let me.
The stems are also a great way to transport the food but they taste nasty.
